Field Trip Programs
Take your field trip to the next level!
The Coloma Experience Program at Coloma Resort is a menu of offerings designed to enhance and customize your field trip experience to Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park!
This program was designed for schools, but is an excellent option for all groups of 30 guests or more who are interested in adding fun, experiential learning activities to their itinerary!
From the Gold Rush Days of 1849 to present. I am always ready to share a story!
Structured and Educational
Teachers, tour leaders and group organizers have the flexibility to add one or all of our structured, educational activity offerings to their own field trip curriculum. Classes include Gold Panning, Leather Pouch Making and Native American Campfire Storytelling! Meals and overnight accommodations are also available.
Lifetime of Memories
Give your guests something special and memorable on your trip to the Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park. The Coloma Experience Program is a great option to supplement your group’s visit to Coloma! With a 30 person minimum, it’s ideal for schools, charter schools, home school groups, and any other groups interested in learning about local history and our environment. Offering meals and overnight accommodations, this program is more flexible, with teachers providing their own curriculum. Tour leaders can choose from a variety of options and customize their group’s experience or enhance their field trip. Some classes include gold panning, leather pouch making, and gold salting!
