RV and Tent Camping Sites

  • Weekday (Sunday- Thursday): $48- $72
  • Weekend (Friday & Saturday): $58- $82
  • Holiday Weekend: $68- $88
  • Rates are based on 2 guests.
  • Additional guest in Campsite: $10
  • Maximum of 6 guests per site.
  • No charge for up to two children under five years old in same Campsite.
  • Pets are permitted. $2 per pet per night.

Group Tenting Sites

  • $216- $360
  • No charge for up to four children under five years old in same Group Tenting Site.
  • Maximum of 12 guests per Group Tenting Site.
  • Pets are permitted. $2 per pet per night.

Gold Rush Cabins 

  • $150- $180
  • Rates are based on 4 guests.
  • Maximum of 4 guests per cabin.
  • Pets are permitted. $5 per pet per night.

Boom Town Cabins

  • $145- $185
  • Rates are based on 2 guests.
  • Additional guest in Boom Town Cabin: $12
  • Maximum of 8 guests per cabin.
  • No charge for up to two children under five years old in same Cabin.

Group Bunkhouse Rooms 

  • $145- $185
  • Rates are based on 2 guests.
  • Additional guest in Group Bunkhouse Rooms: $12
  • Maximum of 8 guests per Group Bunkhouse Room.
  • No charge for up to two children under five years old in same Group Bunkhouse Room.
  • Pets are permitted. $5 per pet per night.

Family Bunkhouse Rooms 

  • $185- $225
  • Rates are based on 2 guests.
  • Additional guest in Bunkhouse: $15
  • Maximum of 8 guests per Family Bunkhouse Room.
  • No charge for up to two children under five years old in same Family Bunkhouse Room.
  • Pets are permitted. $5 per pet per night.

Miners Cabins

  • $175- $195
  • Rates are based on 4 guests.
  • Maximum of 4 guests per cabin.
  • Pets are permitted. $10 per pet per night.

South Fork Cabins

  • $225-$390
  • Rates are based on 4 – 6 guests, depending on the specific Cabin’s maximum occupancy.
  • Pets are permitted in specific Cabins only. $10 per pet per night in pet friendly Cabins.

Country Cottage

  • $385- $405
  • Rates are based on 6 guests.
  • Maximum of 6 guests.
  • Pets are permitted. $10 per pet per night.

Town Hall Meeting Room

  • $150 per day

Visitor Fee

  • $10 per guest. Applies to individuals visiting registered guests of Resort. Visitors are not allowed except by pre-arrangement and pre-payment. Limited Availability.

Cancellation Policies

Family Camping Site Cancellation Policy:

  • 48 hours advance notice for refund.
  • A cancellation fee of $15 per site is deducted from refund.

Holiday Family Camping Site Cancellation Policy:

  • Two weeks advance notice for refund.
  • A cancellation fee of $15 per site is deducted from refund.

Group Tenting Site Cancellation Policy:

  • Two weeks advance notice for refund.
  • A cancellation fee of $25 per Group Tenting Site is deducted from refund.

Group Cancellation Policy:

  • Applies to organized groups with single coordinator responsible for contract and invoice.
  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required for ALL Group Reservations, with the balance due 30 days before arrival.
  • Cancellations within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable.

Cabin Rental Cancellation Policy:

  • Two weeks advance notice for refund.
  • A cancellation fee of $25 per Cabin Rental is deducted from refund.

Park Policies and Rules

Coloma Resort is a private, family-oriented campground. As our guest, we want your stay to be enjoyable, fun and memorable. Coloma Resort values respect for nature and respect for others.

The following rules have been established so that everyone may enjoy their visit with us. Please be sure that everyone staying in your site or cabin is aware of these policies and rules. Anyone who abuses property, creates disturbance or does not adhere to these policies and rules will be asked to leave immediately and forfeit their campground fees.

Registered guests of campsites or cabins will be responsible for any additional costs, expenses or other charges incurred by their occupants.

Check-in and Check-out

  • Check in time is between 3pm and 10pm.
  • Check-ins are NOT permitted after 10pm. This is our quiet time for all guests.
  • Check out time for all Campground guests is 1pm.
  • Check out time for all Cabin guests is 11am.
  • Any guests who do not check out and depart from their campsite by 1pm or cabin by 11am will be charged an additional night stay.

Payments and Refunds

  • All charges for your stay are to be paid for in advance. We do not give refunds for early departures, low water levels, or inclement weather.
  • Additional guests in a site or cabin must be registered for the length of the reservation. We do not give refunds for early departures or late arrivals nor prorate charges for additional guests.
  • On-line booking fee is non-refundable.

Visitors

Visitors are not allowed except by pre-arrangement and pre-payment. If you have not informed us in advance of a visitor’s name and paid for their visit, they will not be admitted. If you are already at maximum occupancy for your site you will be unable to accommodate visitors. Site occupancy limits include overnight guests and visitors of any age. Visitors are subject to a $10.00 per day fee. Visitors’ vehicles may need to be parked in the overflow parking. Visitor hours are from 10am to 9pm.

Town Hall Meeting Room Policies

  • Rental of the Town Hall Meeting Room is available exclusively for Coloma Resort’s registered overnight guests.
  • Check in time is after 3pm. Check out time is 11am.
  • Guests renting the Town Hall Meeting Room may have up to 20 visiting guests (guests that are not registered as overnight guests).
  • All visiting guests must be pre-arranged and prepaid for by registered overnight guest renting Town Hall Meeting Room.
  • Rate for all visitors is $10 per guest, per day.
  • Additional fees apply for outside catering.

Outside Catering

Additional fees apply for bringing outside catering onsite. Outside catering must be prearranged and fees prepaid with the reservation office.

Specific Site Requests

Though we make every attempt to accommodate your requests for a particular site, we reserve the right to switch your site when it is unavoidable.

Minimum Stay

  • All Cabins and Riverfront Sites must be reserved with a two-night minimum.
  • A three-night minimum for all Cabins and River Front Sites is required for all holiday weekends.

Quiet Hours

  • Quiet Hours – are 10pm to 8am. 
  • Please be courteous to other guests as this is meant to be a relaxing and peaceful place. 
  • No noise should travel beyond the limits of your own site. 
  • Loud music, disruptive behavior and disorderly conduct are not allowed. 
  • We appreciate your help in ensuring that this is truly a vacation spot.

Generators

Generators are not allowed to be operated in the park at any time; power is available at every site.

Safety and Liability

Pets

Pets are allowed in the campground, but must be kept on a leash at all times. You must clean up after your pets. Pet bags are provided at several locations throughout the park. All pets must be kept inside at night and are never allowed to be left unattended. All pets must be licensed and current on their vaccinations. A pet that exhibits aggressive behavior, barks continually or causes annoyances to other guests must be removed from the park immediately. You are strictly liable for any injuries caused by your pet.

Pets are only allowed in specifically designated Cabins. Please see Registration Office for further information. Pets found in Cabins that are not specifically designated for pets will result in immediate eviction without refund. Cleaning and damage fees will be charged to your credit card on file.

River Access

Our Grassy River Front Area is available as a river access point for our registered guests ONLY from 10am-6pm. Access is not guaranteed. If events or educational programs are in session, access will NOT be available. River access is ALWAYS guaranteed to our registered guests at the access point by the bridge. If you have concerns about river access limitations at our Grassy River Front Area, please call to inquire if any events are scheduled during your stay.

Life Jackets

Life jackets are required by law on the river with the use of any flotation device per El Dorado County Ordinance 12.64.070.

Campfires and Fireworks

NEVER LEAVE CAMPFIRES UNATTENDED, NO EXCEPTIONS! NO OUTSIDE CAMPFIRE WOOD ALLOWED. Campfires must be controlled and all wood must be completely contained within the fire ring provided. All campfires must be attended by an adult. Please utilize the provided fire rings. You are responsible for any injury or property damage caused by your fires.

Due to the risk of wildfires, fireworks are not permitted. El Dorado County Ordinance No. 8.08.050 forbids the use and possession of fireworks, including ‘safe and sane’ fireworks commonly sold in surrounding areas.

No Campfires on Red Flag Warning Days. Due to community concern, Coloma Resort and other Coloma Valley Campgrounds are voluntarily implementing a temporary suspension on all wood-burning campfires on designated red flag warning days during the 2021 camping season.

River Setback

To protect the river and environment from debris or vehicle waste from entering the waterway, all guests must observe the 10 ft. setback from the top of the riverbank for all vehicles.

Motorized Vehicles

No golf carts, motorized scooters, go-karts, dirt bikes, ATVs, or other motorized toys are allowed to be driven or ridden within the campground.

Trash

All trash MUST be placed in securely tied plastic bags and disposed of in trash containers that are located inside our trash enclosures. Trash enclosures are conveniently positioned throughout the campground.

Dump Station

Do not discharge the contents of any holding tanks onto ground. Please use dump station.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Liability

Coloma Resort assumes no liability for any accidents, injuries, or damages incurred directly or indirectly for any of the actions of any of its guests.

Responsibility for Loss

We disclaim responsibility or liability for accidents, injuries or loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.

These Rules are a Summary

These rules are brief for ease of understanding for all guests. There may be other rules or policies that apply to individual situations, special events or by statutory law. Park management has the right to amend these rules in writing or verbally at any time.
